Ella Jay Basco has been cast as Cassandra Cain in DC’s ‘Birds of Prey’. Her casting has been rumored for a while and it was confirmed by her uncle – actor Dante Basco.

Earlier this week, Robbie revealed full title of the movie in an instagram post. The full title is ‘Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of one Harley Quinn)’.

Robbie will also produce the movie, with Cathy Yen directing, and Christina Hodson writing the script. Hodson writes the current ‘Batgirl’ run for DC.
